Dr. Richard Gillies

 

Dr. Richard Gillies was trained at Melbourne University, qualified as a dentist with a Bachelor of Dental Science degree, obtaining Honors and the Dental Board prize of best performance throughout the course.

After a time in general dental practice, he was accepted for the Master of Dental Science course, specializing in Orthodontics. Following successful completion of this course, he entered private specialist orthodontic practice and was registered with the Dental Board of Australia as a specialist orthodontist.
 

Now working out of the one practice in Footscray, Dr. Gillies offers his vast experience to patients in a friendly environment where up-to-date techniques can be provided that will reduce discomfort and reduce treatment time while achieving the best result..your new smile!

Richard is a specialist member of the Australian Society of Orthodontists, American Association of Orthodontics and is a member of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in the specialty of Orthodontics.

 

 

Dr. Shelley Coburn

 

Shelley is a fully qualified Registered Specialist Orthodontist conversant with all modern orthodontic techniques, including advanced techniques of InvisalignTM  (sequential clear aligners).

 

She has a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and a Clinical Doctorate in Dentistry (Orthodontics) and has been working as an orthodontist in Melbourne for the last 3 years. 

 

She has a special interest in early intervention and enjoys getting to know her patients and their families during their orthodontic journey.

 

Shelley lives nearby so is very familiar with the local area.
